Pretty chilly this morning, 23 degrees. The heat was great! I am going to love the heat this winter. While crusing the trails early this morning I came across 5 deer. Of course it was dark and the head lights wereon, one doe walked right in front of the running RTV within 30feet. It is great, that the deer hear are not afraid of the running motor. Good sign that no one is poaching around here, or they would be afraid of the RTV. Looking forward to Thanksgiving , all the family will be here and they are forcasting several inches of snow. Everyone have a great day!...........Ron

60degrees(8:45AM)here in southern Illinois. Working on my light bar, while having lime spread. The deer hunt ended yesterday, good results, a few less deer to worry about in the crops nest year. Now for about a week evereone needs to be extra careful on the highways because they (deer)are really moving now.

Went up to see my Illlini play Northwestern Saturday, great day, enjoyed by all, good score, too.

Thisisone most pleasant times of the year in my book. Everyone have a safe and Happy Thanksgiving.

Wish you'd throw some of that cooler weather down here. It 75 & 78 degrees today. Hot, and our deer season just got kicked off. Deer just don't move when it's hot at all here. They will move at night all night long, from what our Cuddeback camera's show. But when the sun comes up, they hide when it's hot .....

I noticed what you are talking about them not being afraid of the running motor. When we come out of the swamps at night, running the lights on top, along with the GoLight search lights, the deer don't spook at all. They seem to be really comfortable with the deisel engine of the RTV's >>>>>>>
