2010 RTV900 Transmission Issue

I am new to the forum and am hopeful you can give me some ideas. I purchased a 2010 RTV from the original owner with 726 hours. He used it on a small property to basically run around on and kept it in his garage when not in use.
I was driving it the other day and it all of a sudden started rattling and white smoke poured out of it and it smelled like burnt clutch. I was in mid gear. It happed again so I parked it.

No clutch in the rtv. White smoke could be a head gasket. Did it overheat? The brakes are famous for locking up also but that wouldn't cause white smoke.

Thank you. When it smoked it smelled just like burnt clutch (or brake pads). No over heating. I just traveling along at a normal speed when it stops ( like when you let off the excellerator). It rattles, white smoke and go again. I parked it. I also idled it for a bit. No overheating.
Would the brakes grab and stop it, smoke, then release?
I went ahead and changed the transmission fluid and filters. The drain plug was clean, no shavings.
I don't know anything about a HST transmission.

Update. Today I checked the oil and it appears it is full of diesel fuel. So my transmission issue may be that? The dip stick is way beyond the full mark, feels thinned, and smells like diesel.

Yank the head to observe what is going on. Either a head gasket or you cracked a head.

The transmission oil was fine, other than needing to be changed. I didn't notice any discoloration or odor like the oil.
