Has anyone put a lift kit ontheir 1100? Will a lift kit for a 900 also fit the 1100 or are they different? If you havepost some pictures and give me a bit of info please. Another question is if you have put a lift kit on your 1100 and you have 27" tires installed does your tires rub at any time? Do you have front mud guards installed? I have seen a few posts on this site saying 26" tires rub on their 1100 so it is a no-brainer on the 27's. Any help and information will be appreciated.

I have installed a lift on the 1100. It was listed as for the 900, so it would fit both. Front was a spacer for the top of the strut, rear was an extended shackle for the spring. Installation on the front was a bit of a hassle. Rear was easy. In my opinion, it is a waste of good money. The rear lift won't gain any ground clearance, and the front lift won't get you enough to bother with. You may feel differently.

Tires are not consistant in their size. If I remember corectly the 26 BX tires that people are using , measure 25 1/2. While the 25 Bighorns measure 26 1/2. Some of those that are using 27s are using 9 inch wide up front. The width can make a difference... not just the height.
