2014 RTV X1100C will not move. Hydraulic Oil foaming, HST? Transmission?

The one I mentioned looked perfect. Put it back in and finally decided to check it again. Doesn’t make sense, but it was the problem! Before that we assumed the hydraulic pump was shot. Hope you have the same luck.

2014 RTV X1100C will not move. Hydraulic Oil foaming, HST? Transmission?

Have you checked the strainer in the hydraulic tank? On an old kubota tractor we found that the strainer looked ok but upon further analysis it couldn’t be cleaned. It didn’t leak diesel fuel when filled! We cut the strainer off replaced the plug and the tractor works fine now. Wouldn’t move...

    Kubota 1100 c

Repairing for a friend. Don’t know much about history, but likely only a few hundred hours on oil. Looked ok but I think the strainer was never cleaned. 3-point hitch wouldn’t move. Now it is fully functional.

    Mud flaps for X1100C

Mud season is approaching so I have been working on adding mud flaps to my new X1100C. I made rear flaps the same way I did for my old X900 - cut 3/16 rubber matting to shape and pop riveted to the fenders. I had them on my X900 for 7 years and they were as good as new when I sold it. These...

    Kubota 1100 c

The suction screen is on the bottom of the hydraulic tank, I was just had an older Kubota tractor that had no hydraulic power and found that the suction screen was clogged. It looked fine, but even diesel fuel would not pass through it. Cut the screen off and now there is full hydraulic...

RTV's Wanted or For Sale ..post em here.

I am selling a set of brand new front CV joint guards (Kubota part # K7591-99150). I ordered them with my new machine and decided I don't need them as I don't do off-roading. I paid $123.77 but will sell them for $60 plus shipping. They have not been used. They mount in the tapped holes on...

Reverse Lights for 2018 RTV X1100C

Thanks for this list. I have been on the Messick's site and have downloaded the attached which really helps. I need to spend some time finding the reverse cable - looks like some skid plates, etc. must be removed to gain access. Having the directions for the reverse beeper will help if you...

    x1100c door seals

How old is your X1100C? I just took delivery on one and I wonder what I should be aware of so I can keep an eye out for extra wear. Are you in a sunny area of the country where sunlight would degrade it faster?

50 hour filter change on X1100C

The HST filter came off OK - just what one would expect, but the larger, black suction filter was the tough one. I almost resorted to driving a screwdriver through it and using it as a lever, but I was eventually able to get it with filter wrench pliers. The area is tight I a could not get a...

50 hour filter change on X1100C

I am sure it is a manufacturing difference - just seems odd that they would use the outdated part on a new machine. Regarding the difference in the pleats per inch in the photos - They are the two filters I removed after 50 hours. One is the suction filter the other the HST filter. I took...

50 hour filter change on X1100C

I just performed the required 50 hour filter change on the hydraulic system and transmission of my new machine. As I experienced before with my X900 the hydraulic filter (suction) on my X1100C was incredibly tight. It took all my strength and patience to get it loose! It was very tight until...

Tires for a New RTV 1100C

ATV tires are not good on snow and even worse on ice! I use chains on the rear when it is especially icy - I have some steep inclines on the 1.5 miles of dirt road I keep open. I put off putting the chains on until I have to. The worksite tires have always been really positive when plowing...

RTV's Wanted or For Sale ..post em here.

If my experience is any indication you will have no problem selling it. I put my 2014 X900 on Craig’s List and had it sold in less than 24 hours. 1700 hours, 11,590 miles and in excellent condition with a Boss V-plow. I priced it at $12,500 and the dealer said $14,000 would be reasonable...

Tires for a New RTV 1100C

I have been plowing with the OEM Worksite tires and they are amazing! I had them on my X900 for 7 winters and I now I have them on my new X1100C. I drive on unplowed roads with 16 inches of snow with no problem.

    Tailgate Rattle

Yes - a bit fanatical - this is what happens during retirement when I'm looking for things to do during the winter between snow storms! Once spring arrives things will change and I won't have time to let such things bother me!

Much Easier Shifting on new 1100C

Mine still has episodes of difficulty- just like a toddler! Much more so with the plow. But most of the time it is a big improvement over my older machine when it had less than 100 hours. I’ve not had the popping out of gear.
