Wasn't too far apart... Just looked broken. The old deere wouldn't run the hog fast enough to chop through any on the big ant mounds one encounters, you know the ones! So it broke the deck and allowed the gear box to tilt, the blades hit the bottom of the deck. I had to take the gear box loose...

Daughter helped me get the brush hog back together last Sat. I got almost all the pastures cut before the floods (heavy rains) came. :cool:

Well looks like my fourth Saturday's of the month have been planed out for me till Oct. My daughter got invited to the first playday of the summer season at the Old 34 Arena in Quinlan. She's been working with my horse on barrels and poles for months at our place so I figured since she is soooo...

My wife has mowed around the house a couple of times so far. I'm going to see about getting the brush hog back together so I can do the pastures.
