It's my second. My wife uses our Mahindra to feed and muck out stalls so this will help me mow, ted and rake.

    New tires for Ol'Granny

Excellent! So you can tell people that it is extremely rare and believe it was the only example made and be completely honest!

    My New Antique Massey

I bought another tractor Saturday. A Massey Harris 22. It runs pretty well and has hydraulics and a 3pth. It should be handy during hay season. I bought a rain cap for the exhaust and a toplink at TSC today, then worked it a little this evening.

    New tires for Ol'Granny

Archdean, that is a beautiful tractor! I've never seen one with the dual seats. What is the history behind that?

    1989 Belerus tractor ?

My Mahindra 2810 is a TYM unit also, as are (I believe) all the 10 series Mahindras. I've been happy with it & have almost 1100 hours on it now.

    45 or 55

I think the new Kioti hydros use a electric solonoid for the pto instead of a clutch & have the split brakes on the left. That allows you to use the forward & reverse pedals as well as the split brakes. My 10 series Mahindra is set up that way. You get used to it really quick.

    45 or 55

Have you tried the hydro? I have a hydrostatic & absolutely love it. I've used a shuttle trans. & it was fine but, for absolute ease of use, hydro wins for me. The $ to upgrade to the 55hp wont be much, spread over the terms of a loan. Is there a large difference in size, in that the larger one...

    1989 Belerus tractor ?

That has alot more hours than you usually see on Belarus tractors. Ask for the model # & look it up on tractorhouse.com. They are known to be somewhat crude. Most I have heard are leaky hydraulics. Ask if it is air cooled. I don't think the larger ones are but, good to know depending on your...

All's well that ends well (or) Horses are expensive!!

He is well loved by my wife & most all that are around him. He's been doing well, no sign of any re-occurance. I know what you mean. We put $5000 into our Doberman/Rotty cross's leg and he had 4 more years of running & playing. We would never say no, we just find a way to pay the bill. They're...

    Domestic Yanmar Models

I would think even if it doesn't meet your long term needs due to size, it will do a lot of work and if kept up, keep its value.

    3 pt PTO brush chipper

I would google chinese chippers (if it the one I'm thinking of) and read what you find. I remember some discussion regarding various chinese chippers and their dealers on another forum. Mixed reviews. Do a lot of reading before buying.

All's well that ends well (or) Horses are expensive!!

He is pure Clydesdale. He is pretty tall, close to 6' at the shoulder. in the second pic, with my wife is standing near him, she's 5'-9". I actually thought it was going to cost more. I figured three weeks, multiple ultrasounds, meds and some surgery w/ a biopsy can get awfully costly. I wanted...
