I'm sorry, I havent had any luck. It doesnt appear to be a standard battery, or atleast none of the places I usually get batteries from make them.

    4600su spindle breaks

The wheels should tip together at the bottom slightly I believe ( \-----/ ). Almost certainly shouldnt be splayed out ( /----\ ). Maybe you could post a picture of the front of your tractor. The other possibility is that there is a pothole that you regularly go down with the left wheel.

    4600su spindle breaks

Maybe you can give us some more details such as the location of the break, if you have a loader etc... Welcome to the site. If I am not mistaken, the 4600su is a Ford tractor, I will move this into the Ford forum. :thumb:

Yup, this one sure did Mark. The heater plug which drips fuel onto a hot element type affair. Could've done a dance when it started, it was getting pretty cold :D

Sure enough, loads of junk plugging the fuel tap. I unscrewed the fuel tap and put my finger in the hole to stop the fuel pouring out. Cleaned the tap out with my remaining hand and reinstalled. Bled it all though and away it went. :D Cheers folks.

Thanks guys, it looks like the 'mystery' position on the keyswitch is a thermostart. I'm 99% sure that there is just a load of junk in the bottom of the fuel tank restricting flow, but I'll rig up a temp tank to make sure it starts and runs OK before I clean it out.

Quick one guys, what starting aids does a 135 have (3 cyl perkins)? I can find 4 positions on the key switch. Middle appears to be off. Anticlockwise there is a notch (I assumed glow plugs) then a little more anticlockwise the starter turns. Clockwise from the center just engages the starter...

    Snow

Well I was starting to think we wouldnt see snow this year, but alas, just as it was starting to get more springlike..... Got about 7-8" on the ground, more forecast later. Never seen so much snow. On the downside, PTO bearing in the digger is knackered (hydraulics dont work), so I cant plough...

My friend went and looked at it earlier in the week and gave it 2 thumbs up. I trust his opinion completely, so I went today for a closer look and to find faults to knock the price down. I found one spot of rust about the size of a finger nail that they are repairing. It started right up despite...

    My ex-military Wagoneer

Thats cool Cali. I'm amazed you didnt get any more damage on it from looking at the terrain you are crossing in the picture. Thats a very classy looking car for the army to use, are those whitewall tyres? We have a fair amount of 'green lanes' which are little more than mud tracks. Most arent...

Do you have the physical dimensions of the battery, and maybe even a photo? It might be possible to cross reference the battery to a common make.

What is the battery for? You can order batteries based on size, capacity and terminal layout. Its often more expensive than getting a 'standard' battery, but if you've got an odd place to fit it then its essential.

Basic Paint & Body Part l & ll

So price is a pretty good indication of paint quality then (obviously, but sometimes the most expensive isnt the best), and weight too. Just about to read the like you posted. Thanks

    landrover 90

Q, we can't buy all the good deals I suppose. I'm trying my best, but there isn't enough money in the world! :D Feel free to hi-jack away (I think California started it anyway :D) I looked on some owner forums, pretty much what you had said as far as looking at one goes. They were a little...

Cali, it just seemed odd the way it was measured. How people get away with 7 litre engines, but 2 litre engines dont meet the requirements. I only own 1 engine that is rated to meet the pollution requirements for California and it is one of the most thirsty engines I own (and it isnt the...
