Ok I'll admit it, I've seen these things pictured before but have no idea how to use. I grew up on a farm and probably used one when we made and repaired barb wire fence but I don't get how you'd use one of these. Please enlighten!</p>

I appreciate the pictures, they really helped in my decision. I just bought the Gorilla 4000 and a Universal mounting plate. I have never used a winch before with the RTV. Does one ever need to get at the body of the winch or is it ok to have it tucked in out of sight? I plan on pulling tops...

Guys I am not real "fix it myself" type guy. I want need a winch for the RTV bad but when I check on line most companies don't specify whether or not this winch will be able to work with the RTV without buying additional mounting brackets etc. My dealer was very vague about brand and capacity...
