affter market filters

hi all
what filters do you guys use in the u.s.a ?
do have after market filters over there and what are they like?
here in Australia, you could only get the original filters from Kubota Australia and they are 2 1/2 time dearer than buying them from USA.

Mainly the hydro filter, suction filter & engine oil filter that I'm after for RTV 900 and RTV 1100.

May I make this suggestion.
We all know that the OEM KUBOTA filters, like all KUBOTA parts and accessories are really highly priced. BUT >>>>

You can use another filter, like a quality WIX or a GOLD NAPA filter
on the engine. It will serve you well ....

But on the Transmission, the Hydro filter & the Suction filter needs to be
OEM KUBOTA. For I know of several owners who tried to save money. And it
just didn't work . One, worked fine for a hour or so, and it just would not hardly move out of it's tracks. And then there was a second, don't know where in the hell he got his filters from, would move but would not run over nine miles a hour, and then if you hooked up anything it would not move. Reason for it wasn't letting the Hydro- Fluid flow properly. The OEM Kubota filters are calibrated to the proper amount of flow it needs to make your RTV run .
Don't go cheap on the tranny filters. Machine will not work properly and you just might get stuck with a RTV just sitting still.

Then after they run into them problems with cheap filters, they had to spend more money to get it back right like they should have to begin with.
That was double the money.

Stick with the OEM Filters on the Tranny. This is my opinion !!!!

Not to pimp EB but an OEM whole filter set is about $60 shipped. Air, both hydraulics, oil and fuel. I couldn't find OEM anywhere cheaper and the no tax issue (right now) is the deal maker. Its also a an 80 mile round trip to the dealer ( thats another $20 in fuel). I think having all OEM parts retains the value of these very expensive toys we have. In addition as visible as these parts are its just nice to see correct colors and kubota branding.

Kubota Australia charge me about $90.00 AU for both hydraulic filters !! we ripped off big time in Australia
I love get filter set for that price of $60
you cant even buy a filter set from Kubota out here in Australia
there rrp of brand new 1100 $is wopping $32,000 AU dollars!!

There are some dealers on ebay selling filters .See if they will ship down under. I just ordered 2 K oil filters for $22 delivered in US. bordercollie

Shipping to Australia is really not that bad. But my suggestion is. Buy something like two or three filter kits and let them ship at once. It will save.

I can't remember the cost. But heck, it was not that bad. And this was only three or four years ago this was done by myself. I shipped package to Australia.

Seems like it took maybe nine days, but I can remember laughing. For I've seen it take over five to seven days to to cross over the U.S. on ground.

Check with Messicks. Like bordercollie stated. Check with ebay and see where the seller ships to ...

They can tell you and would probobly be happy to help.

Kubota Parts to Australia

Guys

I'm in Australia also, and buy stuff - books, CDs, car parts, tools from the US. I enquired with Messicks and got the following reply:

Thank you for your interest in Kubota parts. Due to contractual agreements, at this time, we are no longer permitted to sell Kubota parts to customers outside the United States. Please contact a local dealer in your own country for assistance. Thank you again for your interest in Messicks Farm Equipment.

So an RTV 900 is about $14,000 in the US and list here is about $23,000. Shipping must be all of $1,000 . Thank you Kubota.

Likewise, my Husqvarna chainsaw list is about $1,800 here and $900 in Canada.

all Kubota dealer in u.s.a will not sell outside of u.s.a even on ebay
not happy!!
seen a 1100 fliter kit $84 on ebay wont sell outside of u.s.a

..... ever thought about living in the U.S.A.

Not only do we have cheaper Kubota parts.
We have the Second Amendment .....
We can carry GUNS !!!!!
