Jumped on the side-by-side the other day put it in drive for a bit stopped put it in park. Left engine running jump back on felt like it shuttered and pulsates and shutters when moving in all gears. Anybody have any ideas? Much appreciated.

Is the engine shuttering or the hydro? Is your hydro oil foaming? Could be build up of water in hydro oil. When was the last oil change in the transmission

No water or metal shavings (changed both filters and cut them open) less than a year ago for the oil change and filter change. Engine runs smoothly

Most common cause is cavitation. Either way an air leak in the suction or water would cause the oil to foam. Also out of spec oil. I assume you used kubota sudt oil and oem filter

Well? If it were mine i would change the oil and filters just to rule out the easy stuff first. Check all of the suction lines and fittings for air leaks. Before you change the oil look at the oil in the hydro tank before you start the engine and after setting over night. Pull a sample with a 20cc syringe and a short tube. Examine and set aside or put the sample in a small clear container. Then run the machine until it begins the shutter and repeat the draw sample. Compare the two samples to see if the oil looks milky of has tiny bubbles in it and report back what you find.

Ok thank you I will give it a try.
