I am wondering what everyone else does to attach a safety chain when towing a utility trailer or chipper. I don't want to wrap the chains around the Kubota axle and scrape the paint off so I ordered a set of vinyl coat safety cables. Make sense? Also ordered a pipe mount jacking stand to replace the swing down stand to make it easier to uncouple the chipper. Two photos below. The Bearcat 73420 was bought used from ABC Groff in PA- great people to deal with- and so far seems like a great unit. Lots of power, has not stalled so far (just about 2 hours of use yesterday) no matter what I threw in the hopper. Noisy as hell, but it is a great feeling to get rid of downed branches that have been piling up.</p>
