TWO GUNS

Being since I purchased my Kubota RTV in Feb.'07, we were wanting to know when the date that the unit we purchase was manufactured. Finally, went to the source, called Kubota (310) 370-3370 Kubota Customer Satisfaction Department, and talked to them, give them my Serial number & Vin #, and instantly they told me that mine was manufactured in the very late days of Dec.' 06. It was one of the very last that came off the line that year.As I see now, the Kubota RTV's don't justsit that long at all, for it had to be delivered,to Louisianafrom the Georgia plant to my dealer. Not countingthe thetime of the proper paperwork shuffle. For during the time it was made, and the time it arrived, was just about two weeks, for I happen to be at the dealership when they showed up on the truck,( in the crates) that's when I was a looking them over making a decision on the model I wanted. As I have witnessed it, Kubota RTVsis nothing like trucks & carsatthedealerships, with units stacked for months on end waiting to get sold. When RTV's arrive at the Kubota dealerships,They hit the ground running !!!!!!!!!!!

What are the serial numbers up to now?
I believe Kubota started the RTV with serial # 10000. It's hard to believe I've had mine for over 3 years already.

69547 ~~~~ that is of the end of Dec. ' 06

When I get to it, I'm going to look at the one thatpurchased yesterday for my friend ...

From what I'veheard thereare probably at least 50,000 in the field by now.

Your right about how inventory moves. Kubota stocks very few tractors themselves, the dealers hold most of the inventory. Stuff pretty much gets built and is on its way to us within a few days.

I'd guess even more than that. If TWO GUNS' machine is near 70000 and they started at 10000, at the end of 2006 there was 60,000 units. Don't know how many have been made in 2007 due to the RTV1100 coming out but it's obvious they're a great seller.
Well over 70,000 produced now.
I guess mine is now considered old as it's one of the first 6,300.
