RTV 1100 Diesel runs hot.

I don't know what might be wrong. I tried everything I know to do. Water pump looks fine, belts are not slipping, fan is intact. Doesn't seem to be full of anything, stopped up or anything like that. Any ideas?

Is there coolant in the reservoir? My two RTV's (2014 X900) and (2021 X1100C) both arrived with very slow coolant leaks that I initially saw via the level of coolant in the reservoir dropping slowly. I found two slow leaks where rubber hoses clamped on to steel pipes. Difficult to find and fix, but after that no more coolant loss. If I had not noticed early enough I would have seen a rise in the running temp.

Same thing happen to my X900, removed floor board and found leak,
By the bar temp gauge, my X900 run hotter than the 900 did.

The rtv 1100 doesn't have a fan mounted on the water pump pully like the x1100c. The fan on the left side behind the cab must turn on and off in order to regulate the temp. Is your electric fan turning on and off? Also if the fan motor isn't up to snuff it can't move enough air. Have you blown out the radiator with compressed air? The 1100 only has one radiator and are prone to overheating cracking heads
