Repair of vinyl seats

My three-year old X1100C with 6,500 miles (800 hours) developed a crease tear at about 4,000 miles (my X900 did the same thing). I tried to make a repair using Permatex Vinyl Repair Kit, but that was only marginally successful. I finally decided to try Besezx Leather Repair Tape and after a few months I can report that it is holding up well. I then used it to repair some worn areas on my 20+ year-old B7800 and I am pleased how well it seems to be working. The middle two pictures are of the repairs on the B7800 and the 4th picture is from the X1100C drivers seat. Thanks for the heads-up on the product. I tried some liquid type patch on my tractor seat but it didn't last. Will go with this tape product. :)

I need something like this on the corners of mt Steiner Tractor seat. I am wondering if it will stretch in order to conform to the contour of an uneven surface. How will it hold up in cold weather.

I would certainly place this tape on when it is at least room temperature, but I can say that at 0 degrees F it has held up well. The material does conform quite well to contours if not really sharp. You can get a sense of how well it has worked on my tractor and RTV seat and they are not flat surfaces.
