New Polaris model at the wrong time!

Oops!

Polaris just released a new 24HP Diesel with all the goodies we have including Hydro Tranny & Power Steering, enclosed cab with AC.

Their timing is impeccable, with what we are dealing with.
 
I sure hope Polarass didn't use the Hillard front diff, with a plastic cage, and electro magnet 4x4 engagement on these models,,,,,,

haha Chad that is funny! That name got me good ... :yum: The one and only P we ever had , had a plastic oil tank... cracked when tightening up the oil plug... blek... collie
 
There is a Polaris dealership about 8 miles from here. It has been there for about
three years. The back of the dealership has a fenced in area that is four acres.
The WHOLE area in the back is a bone yard. It has so many machines back there, I don't believe another could squeeze in .
I asked a man who works there one day, (seen him at a quick-stop), what is all them machines doing in the back of the dealership. He said that is machines that is waiting for warranty work.
Now, I know things happen. But if I paid that much for a machine, and it had to have warranty work done. I would be damn if it would be left in the open weather.
As I have noticed since then. All over the state. Almost all Polaris dealerships has a "BONE YARD" in the back. That should tell one something .... UH ?

I had a polaris dealer Polaris of New Diana, TX in 2001 take my new Sportsman 500 out on a mud ride & swamped it over the bars! I found this out when I went to pick it up & it wouldn't drive onto my trailer.
Found out a shop hand snuck it out without the dealer knowing. The oil was milky and I demanded a new crate motor during a very heated conversation. They agreed to the new engine & said they would order it.

Two weeks passed & I went to check on it and the dealer was out of business & filed bankruptcy!!!
I lost my new quad with less than 200 miles on it!

I carried it in for warranty work on a squeaky u joint, never to see it again. My attorney couldn't help me at all.
$6,500.00 total loss!

Paid cash & no insurance!
Yes, I was a dumbass!

Where did you find this, the Polaris site I found listed for $15,199 then the cab as a $4999 option and the heater option was $799, couldn't find anything about AC, maybe I was looking at an old site. They list hydraulic power steering, but no mention of hydraulic dump. It lists the windshield as wiper ready, but couldn't add that $499 option. The cab does look added on, but I like the lower roof height. If Kubota gets the slop in the suspension fixed, I don't think Polaris will take much away from the 1100.

It is the polaris Brutus. I think the msrp is 23,999
 
Run into a friend last during while out to supper, he hunts with us,brought out his son to the place one time with his new Polaris Browning Edition UTV. Nice looking machine. This was back in at the end November of 2013.
Asked him about his son. His son is doing good .... Started talking about the hunting season and so on >>>>
The Polaris is not. He brought it up, not I ....
He told me the day he brought it out hunting with us. It done ok. Said he went hunting a once more somewhere else at another place. And that was it.
It's been in the shop ever since with big problems, ( he did not say), and his son is still paying notes on the machine.
Said that it's still under warranty. But they can't fix it. They are sick over the dealing with Polaris.

Then I mentioned about what we know, told him about what is going on with Kubota and their issues. He granted that his son swore that he will have a machine soon. One way or another,
............. And it will not be a Polaris.

I see that the Off Road article says the HST deluxe has cab with climate control, heat and AC, but on the Polaris site, the only one that mentions the AC is the Brutus, so who's right? Won't be getting one, but would like to know.
 
The dash, foot pedal arrangement, engine and rear axle all look a lot like Brutus (commercial unit) to me.

Don't get me wrong, I'm quite happy with my RTV900XT and not looking for anything different. I am quite happy with the reliability of the Kubota equipment I have thus far and wasn't aware of the problems referenced with Polaris. We have a local Polaris dealer but I have never set foot in the place.

Front pto and options for front mower/snowblower are appealing in Brutus HD but I already have a machine that is a front blower and mower (F3080) :)
 
Never had a Polaris side by side but I've have many snowmobiles and ATV's from Polaris and never had an issue. I have however experienced quality issues, recently that I'd never experienced before.
 
Its a Brutus just rebranded for the sales to dealers that don't carry the Brutus line of commercial machines
