New 1626 HST randomly dies with or without load, dealer cant figure it out. No air in fuel system, can save from completely dying by quickly turning off key, then back on. Will die at high or low engine rpm. Help!!

Welcome to the forum. Wish it was under better circumstances.
Does it die immediately or does it sputter before quitting? (Does it "feel" like an electrical or fuel issue?)
You said it's new. Myself, I'd be at the dealer telling them to take the tractor and fix it (on their dime) and you get an immediate identical replacement. They can swap the tractors back once fixed, otherwise they keep the bad one under a lemon law circumstance.

It sputters a few seconds before shutting off. Seems electrical in nature but sometimes wont maintain rpm without lowering the throttle which makes you think its fuel related. Only 25 hrs on it and this is the first time its been worked as a tractor other than putting around the property. They are picking it up again tomorrow for a second look. I like the way you think. They should be providing a loaner.

Unfortunately, the first word you posted (new) is the scariest part of the problem. The tractor has an electronic governor, (no doubt computer controlled) so fuel supply issues are most likely not involved. Particularly so if you can keep it running by switching the key off and back on. It definitely smacks of electrical problems. Mahindra technical is not very forthcoming with information on problems with there product so be aware the small time dealership mechanics will be mostly winging it trying to figure this out. Hoping for a loaner tractor in the interim will be just that. Hope.

Appreciate the insight on Mahindra, and yes there is an electronic Woodward governor mounted to the injector pump with a large wire loom connected to it, which could be the culprit.
I did say “New” in my post thinking only about the 20 hrs it has on it but not the 11 mos its been in my garage without a scratch. However, the dealer did pick it up today to try their luck again. They searched for a diagnostic connection port to plug in for codes last time but finally determined that it did not have one. Hoping they get traction soon!

My reference to the word new merely applies to tractors sold after 2015. Seems they all share a common malady. It takes more than an "average' mechanic to figure out the "why" when they decide they won't run or won't move. I deal mostly with tractors ten to fifty plus years old. I find them much easier to understand and work on. Not a lot of surprises there.
