I have searched for quite a while for transmission/gear oil for my Mahindra 2516 gear tractor. Using the recommended list from the manual I have not been able to find any of the brands at local businesses. The Napa boys swear up and down that their hydraulic transmission/gear oil meet or exceeds all requirements for all tractors. I am not so trusting as to believe them.
Can anyone at this forum relate to me the truth regarding Napa Gear oil and it's usability in my machine. The Mahindra dealer is more than 100 miles from me and to be honest I am not so sure I trust what they say either. Thanks in advance for any help here.
