More Fun With Ford

Attended another tractor parade last Monday. Had a blast! About a two hour ride on the tractor, then a nice BBQ lunch at the pavilion. And even though I have lived around here all my life, I had no idea this museum was here! Has one of the old homestead log homes, a replica of the old schoolhouse and barns full of antique farm implements used here by locals back in the day. It blew my mind.20230807_102029.jpg20230807_101907.jpgship.PNG20230807_134007.jpg20230807_134940.jpg20230807_133946.jpg20230807_133854.jpg

This is cool. This gentleman attends all the local shows and he hand built this tractor himself. It has a Toyota 4 cylinder engine and manual transmission, and a rear axle out of a 3/4 ton truck. He even fabricated the 3 point and the quick hitch himself. And he made all his own implements for it.20230807_101741.jpg20230807_101806.jpg20230807_101817.jpg

Then I ordered more of these Anglo fuel filters from the UK for my Ford. I just thought it's a cool touch to have "made in England" filters on my Basildon England build tractor.

And finally got time to start replacing the rear rims on my 55 Allis Chalmers CA. Just have to clean and paint the centers and wedges, then get the tires mounted on the new rims. I was happy everything actually came apart without a fight.
