GLASS WINDSHIELD FOR RTV1140

I just purchased a glass windshield for the RTV1140. The windshield is made of heavy glass with a metal frame. It is a two piece whinshield that slides up and down. If you slide it down it lets the breeze in on hot days or you can slide it up to keep the dust or cold air from blowing in your face. Dealer selling price $500. I will post pictures soon. Left camera at the ranch. The only problem is there is a bungie cord that keeps the window in the upright postion.

Do you mean the strap across the top of the window is what holds it up? No latches at all?

Is this a Kubota item or an aftermarket item? If aftermarket, who makes it? Thanks

No latch

Yes the bungie cord is the only thing currently that holds the top glass from sliding down. Looking for a way to conncet some type of latch.

You should check out a Case 580K rear window latch. would function just like you need for a slider. Mine is a 1988 and it works great.
