First Snow & First Time With Plow

We had about 4" of snow overnight and I got to try my new SnoDogg plow. I had to adjust the mount height an inch and that helped. No frost in the ground so had to bee careful and still dug it up some. Several days of cold temps will put some frost in and then the plowing will go much better. I love the plow. Takes less than 3 minutes to put it on or off. I store it on a dolly and I just roll it up and tip the lift frame up and set the lock pins, plug it in and we are off!!

Very nice. That looks like it can handle the snow with ease.
We had snow in the air but no accumulation. Where bouts are you located?

:thumb: IE: Snow Country. That plow will get a workout and come through it all shinning I'll predict. If my memory is correct we only had 4 inches of snow one time last year, and that was the most for the entire season. Otherwise 1 or 2 inches here or there. No need to break out the tractor with the rear blade on it. Hope it's the same this year.

You made a great choice with the folding blade. In the "vee" position it will cut through the snow and then let you use the flat position to push it aside taking the swath size you can handle. The toughest part of plowing is getting the first pass moved.

Wish I had a folding one but the flat Curtis I have on the 900 is OK as we very seldom see over 10" or so in a storm here in this part of Michigan.

First decent snow last year was 38"!!!! I had to get the bulldozer and loader tractor both out to deal with that. A record or near record. 18" is about the max we normally get and 10" to 12" is average. We live in a snow belt on the east side of a low mountain range and the storms come in from the west, hit the mountains and go up, get cooled off enough to release the snow or rain. We can have sunshine and rain or snow at the same time!

Nice! Still waiting to try mine. We keep getting snow, but then it keeps turning to rain.

How did you find it for power and traction?
