DON'T FIT

TWO GUNS

Senior Member
Ok,
We all love our RTV's. But Theodore's box stand would NOT fit in the RTV.
So we run his little mini-truck down there and moved it.

January 31 was last day of deer season in Mississippi. He said he was going to move this certain stand when season is over. AND WE DID !!!! The next freaking
day !!!!

I have never laughed so hard in my life. The stand was very heavy and would not fit into the RTV. Decided to bring a trailer behind the RTV, but could not cross a ravine for at bottom was deep and trailer jack would have got into my tailgate and bed and crashed it up. So Teddy come up with the bright idea of his little truck. Everytime he would gas on it, it would wheelie up and we would
run beside it and push it down. Had to put another man on top of the cab to help keep it down. But we got it.

God is Good !!!!

Yep, I bet that was one funny experience, at least the visions in my mind were funny!

Pepr ...
The visions in your mind is just a start. I have not laughed that hard in 35 years. And it was all of us, tears in the eyes, sides cramping.

Yes Sir, it was a experience !!!! :yum:

Just out of curiouisity what is the size difference from the mini truck to the RTV??
Bed is longer, cab is shorter
Mini is MUCH lighter
Mini is not as tall
Mini will make you and your buddies feal like you are over-weight ....
My buddy in front of his camo RTV can give you an idea at the height difference ...

But the overall size, they are about the same ....

Ahhhh ok looks like an interesting piece to use for hunting and trail hopping on them cold days.and a lot cheaper than a new enclosed cab Bota.Wonder how it would handle a plow and how it plows snow.

You can see we use them as "Pack Mules"
We love them down here !!!!

NOTHING to work on .... and yes, you can get parts ....
Just lay it on it's side, and do what needs to be done. Flip 'er back on it's feet .
The gentleman you see standing next to the loaded mini-truck. He has four of them on his place .....
They work the snot out of theirs ....

Now Two Guns, that is sure tempting! Automatic would be nice, can't chase cows and shift -so standard is out for me.. Maybe one day... collie

Looks like you are having some fun and still getting some work done. Thanks for sharing your experiences and your photos.

With that camo paint job, watch you don't leave that thing unattended out in the woods as you might have a hard time finding it again.

I feel bad for the fella in the middle. :) I'd have to take off the doors.. :) collie
If the guy in the middle inhaled really hard, it may blow the outside passengers through the doors.

I thought about getting some of those mini-trucks several years back. At the time, parts availability was the biggest concern so I passed.

Who makes those mini trucks, I don't see many of them around here sure saw lots of them in China. Are they gas or diesel?

Most of this is from memory so I could easily stand corrected.

Mixed bag on gas and diesel but as I recall, most coming to the USA are gas.

They're normally used delivery trucks coming out of Asia and if IIRC, Japan in particular.

Most of the big names make them. Honda, Suzuki, Mitsubishi... These are the ones to get. There's some off-brand versions but they're not as good.

My plan was to get together with a couple others and buy a shipping container full of them. That was either 6 or 8 trucks. I was going to buy in pairs so I had one that would work and another that could be used as parts.

There's people and companies over there that will take care of everything for you. You tell them what brands and such that you want and they'll get what you want within your budget. The higher the budget, the better the trucks you received.

It's been several years but I think using the cargo container full of nice ones would cost about $5-7000 a piece delivered to the States.

There had been talk of making them over here at the Canton MS Nissan plant.. I don't know if it developed or not because they started making another car/truck style about that time.... edit... I think it was put off as I can't find and information. collie
