disc cultivator for 1100

Pretty soon I'll have to start preparing the soil for my food plots. Does anyone know any disc cultivators suitable for my RTV 1100? I need one that is wider and heavier than those Mickey Mouse ATV cultivators. What I want is one whose discs can be lowered or raised to the desired height manually, with a built-in jack or something similar. I'm not interested in those that need to be connected to the vehicle's hydraulics--too complicated, and I don't want to spend more money for a kit for such a connection (I'd also have to pay the dealer to have it installed because the only tool I can handle with passable proficiency is a pen). My hunting land is three miles from home, so I have to tow the cultivator on a paved state highway to reach it. That's why it is essential that I be able to raise the discs enough not to carve furrows into the pavement--the state may not like that, and the discs would not last long. Any advice?

As I recall, member TwoGuns and one but IIRC, it was narrow (fit between the wheels).

It mounted to the rear receiver so it was easy to lift or lower via a series of holes/pin adjustments (to take care of your road issue).

If you drove your rear tires up on some 4x4's then dropped this thing down, I believe he said it did a pretty good job.

My 1100 came with two hydraulic remotes on the rear. Only had to get 2 pioneer male ends that fit the rtv's plug. Wheel disk is the way to go in my opinion. You can put as much load as you feel comfortable with by raising or lowering wheels. Slow moving triangle on disk will get you by law enforcement here.

Had less than 10 dollars in 2 pioneer connectors. Uses the bed hydraulics so you can control wheel height with bed lever. Just unplug bed lines and plug in disk lines. 30 second job.

Thanks, y'all. I am going to take a look at the gadgetry in the back of my kube and see if there is a way of attaching those connectors. A disc cultivator with hydraulic remote is a much better way of plowing.

I'll be interested to see what using the RTV as a tractor does for reliability. It's not really designed for that.
