dats a good one lmao. as for as the camo i can hand paint the tiger stripes but for the camo design that will match the bota design i would have to get them wrapped.there is a company up the road about 5 miles from my house that does the wraps on cars and trucks i'm not sure how the wrap would hold up but i have been watching this a/c company with their trucks running all over and the wraps that was done on their trucks still looks new even after 5 or 6 years. now road use and offroad use is a tottaly different thing.there was one member in here who had his camoed and it looks real good and he said it has been holding up just fine.i forgat how he done them i'm gonna have to go to the sticky thread on my stickstoppers and see i think he mentioned it in there how he done them.i painted these with the paint from tractor supply it was listed as kabota orange and from the pictures it's a dead on match for the color.i have heard people tell me how kabota was really proud of their paint and it showed in the price but i got the paint for 4.99 a can at tractor supply. it's a real good paint and it took forever to dry unlike most rustoleum paint that drys in minutes abd scratches in seconds.

Hi two guns. Thats my machine and peanut did a great job on the stick stoppers. I had hoped the orange would work and after installing them its better for me than I expected. Thanks to everyone on this site for great ideas and tips.

The only fix for the mud would be to keep it in the barn .lol.you just ain't doing it right if you don't get it dirty.

That's the biggest problem I have with ATVs&RTVs, they have expensive axle boots to fix, all it takes is one little stick, and it wont take long if you go in the woods, you ether have to spend time cutting and picking up brush, or make stick stoppers, or stay on the hay field. I had a couple ATVs and made some stick stoppers, the ones on front are little harder to make because they have to clear the front wheels while the wheel is steering and moving up and down, the out side boot is the hardest to protect. What we need is axle boots that are puncture prove.

Thanks for the reminder.
I've been waiting for my stick stoppers from peanut. I had to send them back as his template was off ....I was afraid he would return them with pink poka dots as someone suggested he do ....then I came across the ones he sent me in my garage. I never sent them back like I thought. :bonk: :bonk: My screw up. So, Peanut, if you see this please PM me your address and I will get these shipped out. Aye aye aye. I dropped the ball on a couple things with my dock building / trail maintenance activities. Thank goodness I am caught up for now.

Caught up?? What you talking about Willis? That phrase should be banned IMHO. The only time I will ever be caught up is when they shovel the dirt over me! LOL:whistling:

yeah all ATVs and RTVs boots are an issue - I had a 6x6 Polaris Ranger and spent $1600 replacing all 6 because I bought the Polaris mud guards thinking it would protect the boots. As it turned out, the guards held mud in them and once the mud dried, tore all my boots. Then the CV joints got ruined and I had to replace all of them. I tried to get Polaris to pay for it and stop producing their sorry mud guards - the ignored me so had a lawyer send them a letter and guess what? they paid for the repairs!

I am now a Kubota 1100 owner and love it

I guess there's no real good cure for preventing axle boots from ripping. Are the axle boots on the RTV 1100 better protected? My ATV got burnt up last March, now I'm thinking about buying RTV 500 or the Yamaha Rhino next month because I want something more for working than riding, but still like to go for a ride now and then, and I need something under 60" wide with real low speed pulling power. My biggest hang up with the RTV is no locking front differential, top speed 25-30 mph, and Mac-Pherson strut on front. It looks like the Rhino is the only one that has every thing I want, my concern is, will the Rhino fall apart when I hook on to my ATV trailer full of firewood.

Good Evening.
All Side by Sides has their good and bad.
If you want a work horse, get the Kubota RTV 900, and it is 60 inches wide.
Strong as a ox, has low pulling power, Hydraulic Tranny, ( NO BELTS ) will do everything you want to do with work. DOES NOT GOT FAST . If you must have a fast Side by Side, ....... Kubota is NOT the one to get.
Rhino, good vehicle. Goes fast. Will do some work, BUT, still not a work horse, but will do some things. ( BIL has one ) Not really that comfortable. But still, a good machine.... Gas Burner .... 62 inches wide. Belt driven >>>> More of a Sport Side by Side, in my opinion !!!!
Honda BIG RED ... gas burner. This also is a working vehicle. Pulls GREAT.
Has Hydro tranny, no belts to burn up. Pulls great !!!! We have several at
the hunting property. I like these vehicles .... They are a great machine.
Speed, runs about 40 MPH .... 64 inches wide ...
Honda Big Red has Automotive-style with hydraulic torque converter; three forward gears and Reverse; three drive modes: 2WD, 4WD, and 4WD with all-wheel differential lock !!!!

Best way to help protect the axle boots. Keep protectant spray on them to keep moist and flexable. Don't let get dry and brittle or crack up .
Buy boot savers and clean out as much as possible around boots to keep mud from drying and rubbing the boots and damage ....

These are only my opinions, with what experiences we have had ,,,, ...
