when I use my brush hog it tall grass the four wheel drive shaft gets wound with grass. It doesn’t matter if it’s in four wheel drive or not. What is causing this?

No clue. I suppose the shaft is spinning but is something on the shaft causing weeds to wrap? I was busy and did not brush hog a couple of my fields till this week. The weeds were as tall as my 30hp tractor. Some were even taller. Don't like running through the tall stuff like that but even in 4wd no weeds wrapped around the shaft.
