Accessories that fit other models...

Greeetings! I just purchased a new RX900 and am looking for a site that might show which Kubota RTV accessories fit more than one model. For example, I see some testimony on the internet from a few owners, and 1 dealer, that accessories listed for the XG850 Sidekick will fit the RX900, though this is not documented by Kubota. Has anyone looked into this before? Thanks!

I was wondering the same thing for the rear bumper I saw for the XG.
The best bet on interchangeability may be user experience.
I was able to order a bed extension intended for XG850 and mount it on my X1100.

Heyyyyy,, Im likin that Hitchworks Rear hitch !!! Looks some kinda stronger than whats on my X1100

Yeah Randy ,, I forget Orange Aftermarket only sells through dealers..

I like the rubber mats (The heavy ones with the round circles for traction) at Tractor Supply for the bed and with a good saw can be trimmed for the floorboard . :) They are heavy enough not to move around and no fasteners necessary. collie

A very acceptable method of finding stuff that will fit on your machine is just to ask on here. These fellas dont mind at all spending your money and giving you really good advice. So, if you see something you want someplace else, just come over here and ask about it. Or, if you have a function that you need help in figuring out how to make happen......tell and ask away.............WELCOME ABOARD........God bless...Dennis

Thanks Dennis. I'll be sure to use this forum as a top resource.

Just wondering if anyone has used this folding windshield from Seizmik? It's not hard-coated but is known to work with the Kubota branded hard plastic top VC5011... https://seizmik.com/product/windshield-versa-fold-uncoated-poly-rtvx-900-1120d/
I don't have any experience with that windshield, but...
It's polycarbonate so that's good.
I can't speak for Seizmik's particular windshield but I've seen that plastic strip in the middle where it folds many times (mainly on golf carts). They all seem to yellow after a couple years.

Yes bczoom, I had that concern also. Kubota offers a branded flip windshield with 2 hard-point hinges, but it's hard-coated and well over $500. This Seizmik folding windshield is not hard-coated, but can be had from several powersports vendors for about $370 with free shipping. It gets really hot here in the summer, triple digits for weeks during July and August. My unit will be parked under cover or in my shop, although the shop temp (metal pole building) get stupid hot. It is, however, compatible with 2 of the Kubota-branded black plastic canopies. So I guess I just need to make a judgement and pull the trigger on one of them.

Please allow me to pass along a mx tip for taking care of polycarbonate or acrylic windshields (we run into this on small airplanes with acrylic windshields):
When you clean the windshields...do NOT use anything with ammonia, such as common Windex as it will “craze” the plastic and make it milky. (This may be what happens to some auto headlamp that go thru car-washes that use Windex.)

When you clean the windshields... use only VERTICAL motions of your cleaning cloth. Any circular-motions or side-to-side motions will cause minute scratches in those directions (as will the vertical motions) but the human eye will find that GLARE will occur at night with circular or horizontal scratches while vertical ones will not be noticeable.

Hope this helps.

Sexy cab for X900 from Kubota EU... don't see anything like it in the US. Canopy and windshield look to be standard, but can't find out about the doors or what they are made of.
