I was mowing a few days ago with my 1635, and the radiator screen got blocked by dust / grass, causing it to get hot. (It didn't overheat or make the CEL come on) I noticed it was one "bar" warmer than normal, the glanced down a few seconds later, and it was all the way up. I stopped, and cleaned off the screen, and it immediately returned to normal. Proceeded to finish mowing.
Yesterday, I cranked it and it has a CEL. It is running normal, no limp mode. Oil only has 15 hrs on it (and is full), Coolant looks good, voltage at the battery was 14.3 while running. No water in the separator at the fuel filter...
I plugged an OBD2 reader in, and it says no codes active or stored.
I don't know if the CEL comes on as a maintenance reminder? (166 hrs seems like an oddly arbitrary time for that to be the case).
Any ideas?
