2013 900XT engine acting like it is not getting fuel.

2013 RTV900xt. Engine starts quitting. let off the gas and it comes back to life. does it out of gear or in. Changed fuel pump, fuel filter, pumped out the tank and cleaned it. All fluids good. fresh diesel. Runs ok then acts like it is fuel starved. Air filter is good. What do I do next?

Check the spark arrestor in the exhaust. If it's clogged the engine can't breathe.
