Just wanted to make sure you know there are two hydraulic tanks, one on the transmission and one under the passenger seat. These are in addition to the engine oil dipstick. That tank under the seat controls the transmission, steering and bed lift. The one on the trans only lubricates the gears...

I am in a similar situation except I am planning a towable backhoe purchase. Once I have that, the stable will be complete. I just sold our 9N and all the implements except the disc harrow and an extra blade. Now I have room to store the next purchase. Unless there is a major pullback in sales...

I did the same thing (26x11x12) all the way around on my 1120D. The radials have a much higher ply rating and ride better. (Blackwater Evolutions). We traverse our fields through a township gravel road so I don't think it hurts the tread. But I would avoid frequent blacktop use.

I keep our RTV in 4WD all the time while on the property. When we go for a ride on the township roads, I'll switch out of 4WD. Anyone see a problem with keeping it in 4WD while 90% of the time on soft ground around the farm? I rarely engage the diff lock. Thanks.
