Thank you Aurthuritis. I did the rears on the 05 I had ,and used some aftermarkets ujoints that member Mark S sibole recommemded. That was in the first ujoints post I did, and I had to alter them a bit. I'd never ever do that again though. I had to use a hydraulic press to get the old ones...

If the key is turned onto accessories, it's likely running the meter up . Some cig lighter plugs only work if the key is on accessory.

I used that idea on my 2005 2 pc shaft. If I remember right, it involved adding a piece of rubber hose to act as a damper between the 2 pc haft and the joint . The single piece is different . I no longer have my last 2011 RTV so would try jacking it up and wiggling everything by hand.

I can't remember exactly how I did this but thinking back, I rotated the shaft back and forth as I pushed it in. Thinking it was sort of like a combination lock as the many gear plates moved as I wiggled the shaft as I pushed it in. I don't remember like I once did though.

It looks like the 3 ph lift illuminated. Did you check the fluids to make sure that the rebuilder added fluid? ? Probably did but was just making sure.. I usually go by the old saying "never trust nobody".

If that fails, Have you tried to rotate/wiggle the blades by hand ? I once got a stick stuck in my blades, it killed the mower and I had to wiggle the blades loose to get it out of gear. Thinking this model has a slip clutch ?

Agreed. On my skid steer, if the pressure isn't relieved , it will also be hard to hook back up. I relieve the pressure on mine by raising the hydraulics and turning the key off . then, i only turn the key to the buzz, without starting and let the hydraulics down by their own weight and also...
