Can you lift the mower with the hitch and get the pto shaft attached? If so just letting the mower down will pull on the shaft and may free it. I can’t see it being stuck that bad if it moved last fall. If that doesn’t work you need a left handed framistan and a couple sky hooks. :)

The keys for the rtv, bx tractor and the ZD series zero turns are the same and double sided. The L series tractor uses a single sided key. Look at Messicks for a pic and see if it matches. I bet you’re right, they changed the switch because of the key availability. If so you can buy a new...
