Massey 55 wheeled loader. Good or bad?

Interested in buying a mf55 payloader and was wondering if it's worth buying. The one I'm looking at has hydraulic pump issues. Probably been discontinued and can't be replaced..like most older equipment. Anywho like to hear any input one the subject thanks.

Welcome to the forum.
The MF 55 is around 50 years old.
It falls in the industrial category as opposed to the agricultural market. In the Ag market, MF keeps a strong parts supply chain for their customers. Not so much on the industrial size as it's such a small, niche market.
You didn't mention price, condition... but I'd be very careful buying something like that. If you can't get parts, you bought scrap steel.

Thanks bczoom. It's only 3000 with a newer low housed drop in Perkins v8.

The only reason I even considered it is because the price. A loader for my jd7800 is 10000 or more.
