I'll check at NAPA too. I was thinking something like Eastwood sells. It is an epoxy of sorts that coats the inside of the tank. But the risk is having it flake from where there is light rust. Might be best applied to a new tank?
Good thought on the AL or SS. I may be able to fab one of those!
"Ditch Witch" I think is the best option. I agree that it is best to get the right equipment for this job. It will be worth everypenny in the long run. If your small local rental places do not have a heavy unit try out a United Rental or Sunbelt Rental. They rent to the big jobsites and I am...
Well I have a very nice L2500 that was built in 1999. Only has a few hundred hours on but... I find that I have some light rust on the inside of the fuel tank. It is flaking some and clogging the filter which of course cuts back on the fuel delivery.
So I must decide if I should:
1. Replace...
Get a stand alone.
You can have a trailer on your tractor for the wood or use the bucket to carry it off.
Or hook the stand alone to the tractor to move it around.
Sounds like a job for my plasma...hmmm
I have small JET brand band saw. That tool is a great addition for many shops. I love ti. Chuck in some stock and let it cut. Go do somethign else or take a drink or whatever.
WOW! Thats plenty of snakes..
I just found three Black Rat snakes in my small garage that I use mostly for stoarge. Fortunatly they are not poisonous. I caught them in boxes and relocated them about a half mile down the road. No neighbors there.
Has anyone set up a hydraulic tip and tilt on a compact tractor. I have an L2500 Kubotsaand Loader. Been thinking about possibly adding this feature. I would guess you would need a new valve to control each cylinder and figure out wher to tap into the hydraulic system on the tractor.
Probably not what you want to hear but I will only buy a Stihl. I have an FS85 that is ten years old. Changed the plug I think once, maybe. lol.
I just keep winding string on it and keep cutting.
Good luck with whatever you buy.
Yes. That sounds about right to me. If you really want to make sure there is not pressure on the cylinder then crack the fitting on the hose that does to that side.
My last seat time on the L2500 was to rototill a new garden. A 20 x 40 area for the family kids to raise some Pumpkins. I borrowed a frieds 42" Woods Tiller. It did a nice job for me. Tractor could not tell it was there. i felt like tilling more of the field just for fun but I didn't.
Of...
I cut mine at 4" all season.
I was under the thought that the shorter you cut the harder it is on the grass to resist drought. And the longer grass helps to keep weeds chocked out.
