The hyd filter is the expensive one. Those things look like they are machined on a lathe or something. The oil filter is not so bad.

My guess would be that not much fluid would be lost. The sumps to the engine oil and hyd oil are located lower than where the filters are located. So, I would think that just the oil in the lines would be lost if you are slow about it. I have not changed just the filter, yet. It has been both...

I plug all my tires. None have tubes. I air them up, hose the tire down good, then use a spray bottle with soapy water in it. The soapy water will foam where the leak is. For me, it has worked every time. Sometimes, it takes some patience and you have to redo the soapy water spray because the...

Sorry to jump off subject...About the dozers and anchor chain...take a look at these two neat photos from Australia. On the second pic, you can see the other dozer that the end of the chain is attached to. This same method was used by our troops in Viet Nam for clearing, also... Pretty neat, huh?

I was wondering about the steel skeleton crates the Kubotas are packed in. Thanks for the post. I think I will go ask a couple dealers what they do with their crates...since there is some good metal in them to be used for various projects. I think the Yamaha outboards have similar crates, too...
