I assume you are talking about land pride grapple vs the grapple from everything attachments. I don't know anything about grapples. But I do know about the bx2230 and the LA211 front loader. The loader does NOT have quick connect bucket from the loader arms. You have to remove the pins. Pain...

The downside of the shield is you can't mount the mower without removing the shield. Up side is the shield is fairly easy to install and remove.
